A professional tribal fusion belly dancer Lilith is a dance artist, teacher, and a choreographer based in Brno, Czech Republic. She has founded her dance company Bellatrix in 2013 and she has been a member of a tribal style troupe Hurriya since 2011. She teaches regular classes in a dance school “Centrum Tance” in Brno.
Lilith studied an oriental belly dance since 2007 with several cabaret teachers, the most famous ones are currently Kateřina Krejčová (Kathreen) and Badriyah, both international cabaret dancers and winners of international competitions. Later, she started to study tribal and tribal fusion with Bri Hurley, an American teacher who brought these dance styles to the Czech Republic and she achieved the teacher’s cerficate of Ba’Thani method from her in 2011.
Currently, she educates herself within the style with international teachers – the most famous ones are e.g. Rachel Brice, Sharon Kihara Sakit, Sherri Wheatley, Samantha Emanuel, Kami Liddle, Jill Parker, Amy Sigil, April Rose, Asharah, Deb Rubin, Illan Riviere, Violet Scrap, Lamia Barbara and many others. She regularly attends dance domestic festivals and other dance events as well as the ones abroad where she gains further education. She also studies other dance forms and dance approaches and she is also eager to learn other general dance techniques and skills.
She joined the European tour of an American show (director Jillina Carlano) Bellydance Evolution, Dark Side of the Crown in Austria (Dornbirn), Greece (Athens), and Italy (Bari) in spring 2013.
She tries to contribute to a development of a tribal community in the Czech Republic, publishes the articles (translations) about interesting dance topics as well as reviews of related DVD instructionals for tribal public, supports domestic dance events. She is very creative making tribal jewellery, mainly tribal bindis. In her civil life, she achieved a Ph.D. title in Civil Engineering.
